SAUK PRAIRIE, Wis. — Sauk Prairie police arrested a man Thursday night after he fired his gun inside a Sauk City bar.

When police got to Gym Bar shortly before 11 p.m., they reportedly found evidence someone had shot a single round into the floor; the suspect was no longer at the bar, though.

No one was hit by the bullet, but two patrons were treated at the scene by first responders because they were hit by debris from the gunshot.

Police later arrested a 33-year-old Sauk City man for his alleged involvement. He was arrested on tentative charges of endangering safety by negligent use of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, and carrying a weapon where alcoholic beverages are sold/consumed. Police said they’re still investigating and may file additional charges down the line.
