Salvation Army red kettle campaign kicks off

The Salvation Army’s red kettle campaign kicked off today.

A $525,000 goal has been set for the campaign.

A member of the campaign says the donations do not just help during the holidays but throughout the whole year.

The Salvation Army says roughly 80 percent of shifts for bell ringers are available and need to be picked up.
