Ryan’s congressional opponent continues campaign push
Zerban says to Ryan, job would be "consolation prize"
JANESVILLE, Wis. — Despite being the underdog to Paul Ryan, Rob Zerban continues to campaign for the first congressional district seat in Janesville.
Zerban stopped at the United Auto Workers Local 95, encouraging people to get out and vote.
He told voters that they deserve a representative who is solely focused on their district.
“You know, we really need to have someone who’s focused on winning the first congressional district,” said Zerban. “Somebody who wants to advocate for the people here, and shouldn’t really see this as a consolation prize. This would be the greatest honor of my life to represent the people of the first congressional district house.”
Zerban additionally talked about creating job opportunities and expanding the working class.
