Ruth A. Kirchberg
BEAVER DAM—Ruth A. Kirchberg age 85, died on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Columbus Community Hospital, Columbus.
She was born on June 5, 1927 in the Town of Fountain Prairie to Christopher and Amanda (Yohn) Sauer. Ruth was married to Herbert Kirchberg on June 12, 1945 at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Fountain Prairie. Together they raised ten children. Ruth was a drug and alcohol counselor for Dodge Co. Unified Services. She was married to Sylvester Wallintin in 1997 after Herbert’s death in 1986.
Ruth was an avid reader and enjoyed travelling. She deeply loved the time spent with her family. Ruth was a member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Fall River.
Survivors include four daughters, Patsy Ebert of Randolph, Bonnie Kirchberg of Beaver Dam, Ann (Steven) Huebner of Columbus, Lola (Dave) Toellner of Beaver Dam; three sons, John and Kenneth (Jean) both of Beaver Dam and Jody (Connie) of Fresno CA; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four step-children; two step-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Parish of Center Ridge AR; a sister-in-law Dolly Sauer of Fall River; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two daughters, Elaine in 1968 and Kathleen in 2011; one son, Melvin in 2005; a brother, Donald and a brother Edward in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fall River. Rev. James Bolda will officiate. Interment will be in the Fall River Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the church on Thursday.
