Rosemary Gjertson, 77, of Fort Atkinson, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.
Rosemary was born on December 9, 1939 in Janesville, daughter of the late Edward and Diana (Schneider) Coleman and was raised in Lima Center. She married Marvin Gjertson in Fort Atkinson on January 21, 1969.
Rosemary had worked for Thomas Industries, Highsmith and was once the owner of the Tee Pee Lounge in Fort Atkinson.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Marvin of Fort Atkinson; children, Jeff (Chris) Lewis of Olathe, KS, Gayle (Brian) Borland of Amherst, NY and Connie (Lee) Kopetsky of Fort Atkinson; step-daughters, Debbie (Mark) Sproel of Fort Atkinson and Amy (John) Schneider of Stoughton; grandchildren, Claire and Luke Lewis, Evan (Melissa) Borland, Jaren Borland, Neil Kopetsky and Jill (boyfriend, Christopher Mengoz) Kopetsky and great grandson, Miles Borland. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Donald, Joann, John, Fran, Pat, Kaye and Dick.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
