Ronald C. Brunner

CROSS PLAINS-Ron Brunner, age 67, of Cross Plains passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born on Oct. 28, 1944, and was raised on the family farm in Pine Bluff. On Aug. 13, 1966, Ron married the girl of his dreams and they spent the next 46 years, side by side, making each day together count. Ron and Pauline raised two children, Lynn and David, and celebrated their accomplishments with pride. Ron’s pride was the fullest on the days Lynn married Jeff and David married Shannon watching his children find the same love that he shared with Pauline. Ron’s greatest joy in life were his four beautiful grandchildren, Katrina, 18, Mariah, 15, Lydia, 11 and James, 2. Ron’s career as co-owner of Feiner Furniture and his many volunteer efforts demonstrated his work ethic, commitment to others and his community. What will be remembered most about Ron is the kindness of his heart, living life to the fullest, and his love for and devotion to his family, including his brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews. Ron always appreciated his wide circle of family and friends and the enjoyment he found in being with others.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Pauline; daughter, Lynn (Jeff) LeMoine of Crystal, Minn. and son, David (Shannon) Brunner of Monona; four Grandchildren, Katrina LeMoine, Mariah LeMoine, Lydia LeMoine, and James Brunner; sisters and brothers, Charlotte (Lyle “Doc”) Esser of Cross Plains, Pat McNulty of Waunakee, Jeannie Miller of Waunakee, Rosemary (Jon) Zimmerman of Cross Plains, Sister Jacinta (Carol) of Waukesha, Teresa (Randy) Butters of Madison, Marian Bemis of Waunakee, Leona Brunner of Mt. Horeb, Raymond (Sue) Brunner of Sauk City, Stephanie (Don) Laufenberg of Waunakee and Joe (Melissa) Brunner of South Wayne.
