Ronald Albert Duda
Ronald Albert Duda, 79 of Mauston passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at Fair View Nursing Home, Mauston.
Ron was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 29, 1938 the son of William and Josephine Duda. He was united in marriage to Wanda Schauenburg on February 22, 1969 in Wheeling, Illinois. He attended Lane Technical College Prep High School in Chicago and received his Bachelors of Science from Harper College. He served in the Uinted States Army. He sold insurance in the 1960’s and then went into sales for Best Power, Necedah and retired at the age of 59. He was an active member of Our Lay of the Lake Catholic Church and sexton for St. Michaels Cemetery. He was a member of the Castle Rock Lions Club. Ron enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, fishing, duck hunting and stopping at the casino on their travels.
He is survived by his son William (Sarah) Duda of Mauston, his grandchildren Jessica (Andrew) Kindschy, Neil (Jessica) Duda, Shawn, Michael and Kyle Patton and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, and his parents.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will be at St. Adelbert Cemetery, Chicago at a later date.
