Ronald A. Veinberg
Ronald A. Veinberg, age 42, of Dodgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 26, 2012. Ron was born on September 27, 1969 in Madison to Evars and Margaret (Anderson) Veinberg. He grew up in the home of his grandparents, DuWayne “Weiner” and Geraldine Anderson. Ron served in the Army National Guard before joining the U.S. Army. He was stationed at Fort Rucker, Alabama where he earned his helicopter wings and worked as an Aeroscout Observer. After his Army service, he attended Plumbing School at M.A.T.C. and began working at Pertzborn Plumbing where he worked for 14 years. He then worked for Dave Jones Plumbing before starting R.A. Veinberg Plumbing. He also worked as a Tool and Die Maker at O & A Manufacturing in Verona. Ron liked to hunt and golf and was a Badger and Packer fan. He also appreciated music and loved to play his drumset. He was preceded in death by his father, Evars Veinberg and his grandfather “father”, DuWayne “Weiner” Anderson.
Ron is survived by two daughters, Rebecca and Rachael Veinberg; a son, Ronald “R.J.” Veinberg Jr. and his former wife, Jennifer Walls-Veinberg, all of Dodgeville; his mother, Margaret (Mike) Stone of Baraboo; his grandmother “mother”, Geraldine Anderson of Dodgeville; a sister, Mary Marie Holmes of Baraboo; two brothers, Robert DuWayne Holmes of Raleigh, NC and Eric Veinberg of South Carolina; two aunts, Nancy McDowell and Chris (Brad) Broaden, both of Dodgeville; a step-brother, Greg (Heather) Bonti of Stoughton; a step-sister, David (Julie) Stone of Huntley, IL; a special friend, Shirley Faherty as well as many loving cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church in Dodgeville with Pastor Steven R. Kottke officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday after 10:00 A.M. Inurnment will be in East Side Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Organ Memorial Fund.
