Robert R. Wolff
Robert “Bob” R. Wolff, age 72, passed away peacefully in the comfort of family on Wed. Apr. 26, 2017 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie.
He was born Jan. 10, 1945 to the late Herman and Esther (Kroncke) Wolff. He graduated from Poynette High School in 1963. Following High School, Robert enlisted in the National Guard serving for 6 years. Robert later obtained his associate’s degree in Accounting from M.A.T.C. in 1965. He worked for Wick Buildings for many years and retired from Accelerated Genetics after 25 years. Robert married Mary J. Craker on May 17, 1969; she preceded him in death on Jan. 9, 2016.
Bob was a man’s man; a determined handyman who could fix anything. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting with family and friends. Bob was an avid sports fan following the Packers, Badgers, Brewers; and a dedicated family man.
He is survived by his 3 children, Richard (Jane) Wolff of Sauk City, Rhonda Wolff of Wausau, and Ryan (Shelia Erickson) Wolff of Oxford; 4 grandchildren, Logan, Cydni, Ritchie, and Trenton; he is further survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by 9 older siblings; Merlene, Delores, Erna, Beverly, Genevieve, Donna, Marjorie, Laurence, and Bill.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am on May, 13, 2017 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 115 Madison St., Sauk City. A visitation will be held in the south lobby from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Necedah at a later date.
Robert’s family would like to thank the staff at Maplewood for their patience and their loving care of Robert.
