Robert L. Moore
BEAVER DAM—Robert L. Moore age 68, died on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Veterans Hospital in Madison. He was born on November 16, 1944 in Hammond, IN to Frank and Ann (Schleiwe) Moore. Robert was a graduate of Fall River High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Lazy Lake Restaurant in Fall River for five years. He lived in California for many years where opened numerous restaurants including The Beach Boys restaurant in California. Robert was a chef at Benvenuto’s in Beaver Dam for more than ten years. He loved time spent with his grandchildren and had an appreciation for Jack Daniels.
Survivors include his long-time companion, Rhonda Heidtke of Waterloo; three sons, Richard of Madison, Raymond of Portland OR, Ryan (Mandy Matula) of Fond du Lac; one daughter, Tiffany (Shane Douglas) Moore of Beaver Dam; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Jean (John) Niehoff of Fall River and Barbara “Muffy” Hein of Milwaukee; three brothers, Dale (Sally) Moore of Columbus, Dennis (Howard) Moore of Fresno CA, Frank Moore Jr. of Watertown; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM with a funeral service at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the funeral home with military honors following.
