Robert G. Hach
Robert G. “Bob” Hach, age 83, of the Muscoda/Highland area passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born on April 23, 1931 at home to Ralph and Anna (Pustina) Hach. He was a graduate of the Highland High School. Bob married the former Jean Vranek of Muscoda on October 2, 1952 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Muscoda. Bob farmed all his life on the family farm where he was born, lived and died. Grandpa was our “go to” fix it man, and what needed to be built he would develop a plan and create. He enjoyed his John Deere equipment and time spent driving tractor. Bob drove school bus for 33 years, 16 for the Highland School District and 17 for the Muscoda School District. He was a member of Ss. Anthony & Philip Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Anna and a son, David.
Robert is survived by his wife, Jean of Muscoda; two daughters, Sue (Mark) Schell of Platteville and Lynn (Kerry) Weeden of Muscoda; a son, Jim (Cindy) Hach of Muscoda; five grandchildren, Paul (Megan Bachman) Schell; Megan Schell and fiancé, Andrew Bahr; Mike Weeden; Donnie (Amanda) Weeden and Dustin (Alecia) Hach;
two great grandchildren, Alex Weeden and Karlee Hach; as well as many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 24, 2014 at Ss. Anthony & Philip Catholic Church in Highland. Fr. James Murphy will officiate with burial in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Bob’s immediate family will then have a meal at the home farm. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. and after 12:00 Noon on Monday.
