Right on cue: The heaviest snow is ending, but clouds and flurries stick around – Chris

As snowfall reports continue, it’s become evident that many areas have landed right in the 3 to 5 inch range, particularly from Madison and eastward.

Towards the west, most snowfall amounts were closer towards 2 inches, lining up very well with the News 3 Now First Alert Weather Team’s forecast from Friday.

Going forward, snow begins to wind down as we approach the afternoon. Light flurries will continue throughout the remainder of the evening. High temperatures will be in the middle 30s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and mild with a chance of flurries; high temperatures will be in the middle 30s.
