Ricky Calvin Hasheider
Ricky Calvin Hasheider, age 64, completed his last lap and passed away peacefully on Jan. 2, 2020 at University Hospital in Madison after a short but brave battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born at the Sauk Prairie Hospital on Aug. 22, 1955 to the late Merle C. and Lucy E. (Fuchs) Hasheider; he was the oldest of 5 children. Ricky graduated from Sauk Prairie High School; class of 1973. He worked alongside of his parents and siblings in the family business; Hasheider Roofing and Siding Ltd. for over 20 years.
Recently new adventures took Ricky and his fiancée, Cathy to Florida where he enjoyed the warm weather and working in Production Testing for Ariens Corporation at the Sebring Racetrack. Along with enjoying the warm weather, live music, and racing, he could often be found in the saddle of his motorcycle, “Sassy Mae”.
Ricky is survived by his sons, Brian (Ivy) and their children, Joey and Lily, Greg and his daughter, Chloe; siblings, Brad (Lisa) and their children, Heather (Chris) Smith, Tyler and Cody, Kevin (Stacy) and their children, Daniele (Tyler Kuhl) and Dakota, Wesley (Monica) and their children, Kassie (Dominick) Goodman and Dylan, Sheila (Joe Powell) and Sierra. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends including his former wife Chris Hasheider.
In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by the love of his life and fiancée, Cathy Gibson.
As per Ricky’s wishes, a Celebration of Ricky’s Life will be planned for the near future.
