Richland Center man charged with threatening National Guard member

A Richland Center man was charged Wednesday with leaving a threatening voicemail message for a member of the Army National Guard, according to a release.

Travis B. Martin, 32, was charged with transmitting a threatening communication from Wisconsin to Alabama, officials said.

The indictment alleges that on Nov. 10, Martin left a voicemail message for a member of the Alabama National Guard in Montgomery, Alabama, that threatened members of the Army National Guard, according to the release. Martin allegedly said, “We’re going to blow your (expletive) brains out.”

If convicted, Martin faces up to five years in federal prison.
