Richard N. Alexander
MADISON-Richard N. Alexander, age 53, found peace on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012. He was born on March 14, 1959, the son of Charles and Margaret Alexander. He married Carmen Tucker on May 31, 1980. Richard received a bachelor’s degree in food science and nutrition, and an MBA in information systems, both from the University of Missouri.
He was a man of many strengths; he made the world a better place for all who knew him. Richard loved music, reading (especially history), and entertaining family and friends. He enjoyed playing guitar and banjo; his biggest fans were his family and friends. He also enjoyed and excelled in mentoring others.
Richard is survived by his wife, Carmen Alexander; mother, Margaret Alexander; siblings, Stephen (Emmy) Stenger, Carolyn (Bob) Talbott, Joan Nix, Annette Eaton, Mary Ann (Gus) Seely, Linda (Jim) Graves, Louis Stenger, Norene Leonard, Lester (Pam) Stenger, and Arthur (Debi) Stenger; sister-in-law, Lisa (John) Epps; brothers-in-law, Paul (Julie) Tucker and Mark (Pam) Tucker; mother-in-law and special friend, Lydia Tucker. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Alexander; brothers, Omer Stenger and Charles Duane Alexander; sister-in-law, Gloria Tucker; and father-in-law, Paul E. Tucker.
Funeral services will be held at LANDESS FUNERAL HOME, 1213 Allen Road, Campbell, Mo. at Noon on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell, Mo. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
