Reporting bullies made simpler
New website promotes anti-bullying campaign
MILTON, Wis. — Community members can anonymously report bullying using a recently launched website.
The City of Milton Police Department partnered with the Milton Youth Coalition to create the website after an increase in bullying incidents last school year. The cases of the suspected bullying were also increasingly severe and took place on and off school grounds.
In response to these incidents, the website is part of a community-wide anti-bullying campaign that will take place this fall.
The City of Milton Police Department said this reporting tool is important, as sometimes victims and witnesses were hesitant to report incidents and fear retaliation. The new website will send reports directly to the police department, which will take action based on the information provided.
