Report: Beloit School District demands former superintendent stop contacting staff
BELOIT, Wis. — The Beloit School District’s law firm sent a letter Tuesday to former Superintendent Dr. Stanley Munro demanding that Munro cease and desist from contacting school district staff, according to the Beloit Daily News.
The letter reportedly says the school district may take legal action against Munro for violating the terms of his resignation agreement. Beloit Daily News reports that a potential lawsuit against Munro could result in the termination of severance payments and/or a restraining order against him.
On Jan. 16, the Beloit School Board voted unanimously to accept Munro’s resignation following accusations that he “used his position to intimidate staff and make attempts to withold infomration from records requests.”
