Director of Building Inspection and Code Enforcement George Hank said snow that started to accumulate on Friday and into Saturday needs to be removed by noon on Sunday.
If ice forms underneath the snow, residents are required to salt or sand the area to prevent the ice from becoming dangerous. Free sand locations can be found here.
Hank asks that neighbors help others who might not be able to clear their portion of the sidewalk.
