Red Rock Saloon to move to State Street this fall
Red Rock is moving into HopCat's previous location.
After seven years in Madison, Red Rock Saloon is moving from 322 W. Johnson St. to State Street in HopCat’s previous location.
Red Rock Saloon, a bar and restaurant featuring rock and country music, opened in 2014. Randy Hauser, Cole Swindell and Kip Moore, along with local and regional singers and bands have performed over the years.
According to a release, the new location will have new amenities and more space for guests. It will have a full stage for weekly live music, mechanical bull and larger 360-degree bar. They also plan to expand the second floor bar to have a rooftop.
“I was walking through this space and within minutes I knew this would be the perfect location to move to,” Drew Deuster, Wild Planet Hospitality Managing Partner, says.
Red Rock Saloon plans to continue offering food and a long list of beers, along with its Single Barrel Club program.
HopCat closed its Madison location in September 2020 and has been vacant since the closure.
“We have loved our time on Johnson Street,” says Deuster. “Madison has been a great home to us since opening in 2014. While our current location has brought countless good memories, we are looking forward to creating so many more in our new spot.”
