Real estate broker cleared in John Doe probe
Prosecutors have cleared a Milwaukee commercial real estate broker in a secret investigation into activities during Gov. Scott Walker’s tenure as county executive.
An attorney for Andrew Jensen said Thursday that Jensen and the firm for which he works, Boerke Co., have been informed by the Milwaukee County district attorney’s office that they are not targets in the nearly two-year probe.
In a statement to the Journal Sentinel, Jensen’s attorney said his client has “fully cooperated and has truthfully answered all of the investigators’ questions.”
The probe has already led to charges against three of Walker’s former county staffers, one appointee and a major campaign contributor.
Jensen was arrested last December in relation to the probe, known as a John Doe investigation, but released without any charges being filed.
