Rash of home burglaries in western Dane County
MADISON, Wis. — Eight residential burglaries within a three day period in western Dane County are getting the attention of the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said the daytime burglaries occurred between Sept. 25 and Sept. 28. Five burglaries were in Middleton Township and three were in Montrose Township.
Burglars took cash, jewelry, electronics and guns by getting into the homes through unlocked doors and by forced entry.
Residents are asked to make sure homes and garages are locked, and to report suspicious activity.
