MADISON, Wis. — A 20-year-old Madison woman’s purse was stolen Wednesday night out of her unlocked apartment while she and her roommates were home, police said.
The woman called police after realizing her purse had been stolen from her apartment in the 300 block of North Hamilton Street, according to a release.
The woman told police she left her purse near the front door, and someone must have opened the door, reached in and grabbed the purse sometime between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
