Public health officials look for dog that bit man in Mount Horeb
Public health officials are looking for information on a dog that bit a man Tuesday in Mount Horeb.
The incident happened around 5 p.m. on South Blue Mounds Street near the public works building, officials said.
The dog was on a leash with its owner, according to the release. The man was bitten when he tried to pet the dog.
The dog is described as a grey and white husky or malamute type dog, officials said. The owner is described as a white man between 25 and 35 years old with a beard.
Officials ask anyone with information on the incident to call 608-255-2345 and ask for the animal services officer.
