Potato truck mashed under train overpass in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE — A semi-truck full of potatoes in Milwaukee was damaged under an overpass Monday morning, according to a report.
WTMJ-TV reported that a truck carrying 42,000 pounds of potatoes attempted to pass under a train bridge, but the semi was too tall, and the roof of the trailer connected with the underside of the bridge.
The sign with the maximum height that can clear under the overpass was not visible from far away because of the snow, witnesses told WTMJ-TV.
It wasn’t clear Monday morning if there were any injuries.
