Madison police said officers found pot at the scene on Jana Lane where a driver hit a parked car and fled Aug. 15.

Police are looking for a man officers said flipped his car and fled the accident scene early Thursday.

Madison police responded to a rollover hit-and-run crash in the 900 block of Jana Lane at 1:28 a.m.

A witness told police the driver took off running after smashing a rental car into a parked car.

The rental car ended up on its roof, police said.

Officers recovered a couple small bags of marijuana from the scene, according to the report. Police said a K-9 was unable to track down a suspect.

Police described the driver as a man in his 20s or 30s with short hair wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants. Police said the driver’s race was not known.
