Possibly life-threatening injuries reported at Dodge County crash
2-vehicle crash partially closes Highway 33 Sunday night
TOWN OF HERMAN, Wis. — Possibly life-threatening injuries are being reported at a two-vehicle crash in Dodge County, officials said.
Around 7:10 p.m. Dodge County emergency crews were sent to the intersection of Highway 33 and County Road AY in the town of Herman for reports of a traffic crash with injuries, according to a release.
Deputies said a vehicle driven by Christopher Lackas, 25, of Brownsville, ws traveling south on County Road AY and entered the intersection with Highway 33 and collided with a vehicle traveling east driven by Jean Schultz, 65, of Wauwatosa.
Schultz was extricated and flown to Summit Hospital but Flight for Life. Lackas was extricated and taken to Beaver Dam Hospital. The condition of the drivers is not known.
The Dodge County Crash Investigation Team, Iron Ridge Fire and First Responders, Beaver Dam paramedics, Horicon and Mayville EMS, Flight for Life, DCERT and Allenton EMS assisted at the scene.
