Portage intersection closed following crash

PORTAGE, Wis. — A Portage intersection was closed for about one hour Saturday afternoon.

According to a news release, police responded to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of New Pinery Road and Northridge Drive around 3:45 p.m.

The release said officers found the southbound lane of New Pinery Road completely blocked off due to the crash.

Officials said the intersection remained close for about one hour while the crash was investigated and cleaned up.

The crash remains under investigation. Police did not say if there were any injuries.
