Police: Woman driving without headlights arrested on 4th OWI
Woman faces felony charge
SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Sun Prairie police said a woman who was driving without headlights early Wednesday morning was arrested on a felony charge of operating while intoxicated.
Police said an officer saw the vehicle being driven by Zarah El Hail, 45, of Sun Prairie, at about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday on Pilgrim Trail.
Police said the officer stopped the vehicle and subsequently arrested El Hail on a charge of fourth-offense OWI. Because this offense occurred within five years of a previous OWI conviction, the resulting charge is a felony, police said.
Police said El Hail was booked into the Dane County Jail. She was also cited for failure to install an ignition interlock device, operating after revocation and operating without headlights.
