Police: Teens fired on men who feared robbery

A pair of teens fired on two men who thought a group of teens were about to rob them, according to a release from Madison police.

The men told police they were in a parked car in the 5700 block of Russett Road on Saturday night when several young men approached the car. They said two of them had handguns.

One of the men said they thought they would be robbed, so they drove quickly into a Raymond Road parking lot and heard three gunshots.

Police said they found one round had hit the car, and two shell casings were recovered from the parking lot.

One of the armed teens is described as black with a slim build, dark complexion and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. The other armed teen is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 140 pounds, with dreadlocks and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
