Police searching for suspect in north side hit-and-run
Victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are looking for a driver in a hit-and-run accident on Madison’s north side Monday evening.
The incident happened just before 8 p.m. Monday at the corner of Northport Drive and Packers Avenue.
According to police, a 60-year-old pedestrian was trying to cross Northport when the vehicle hit him. Police said the vehicle kept driving without stopping. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the vehicle is described as a 1990s Toyota pickup truck with large tires and the words “Toyota” in white on the tailgate. Anyone that has any information about the case is asked to call Madison Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
