Police release surveillance images of suspects in string of burglaries, thefts
BEAVER DAM, Wis. — Authorities released a surveillance images this week of a suspect in a string of burglaries in a Dodge County community.
The Beaver Dam Police Department said it has responded to numerous thefts and burglaries over the past several weeks. Most of the incidents took place in the southern part of the city.
Police said unlocked vehicles have been targeted, but even more concerning, homes have been entered by unlocked, unsecured access points and by forcible entry.
Police also reminded residents to lock up vehicles, doors and windows on their homes. Residents are also advised to turn on exterior lights or install motion-activated lights, if possible.
Residents who see anything suspicious, or see something that doesn’t seem right, are encouraged to call police.
“As always, we rely on the community as our eyes and ears,” the police department wrote.
Anyone with information related to the identities of the people in the surveillance images is asked to contact the police department on its Facebook page, or contact Detective Daniel Kuhnz at 920-356-2552. Residents with surveillance systems installed on their property with images that may help the case are also asked to call.
