Teen hit by car on Sherman Avenue
MADISON, Wis. — A 17-year-old pedestrian suffered minor injuries after walking into the path of a car on Sherman Avenue, Madison police said.
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Sherman and Aberg avenues.
Police said the driver had a green light when the teen entered Sherman Avenue and was struck.
The driver, a 37-year-old Madison man, was cited for operating after suspension, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
The teen was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
Police said the crash is under investigation and an additional citation is possible.
