Police offer cash reward for info on armed robbery of Subway

Jefferson police are offering a cash reward for information in an armed robbery that happened at a Subway Saturday night, according to a release.

Around 9:20 p.m., officers were sent to the Subway at 139 Collins Road for reports of an armed robbery, officials said.

The man entered the store, displayed a handgun to an employee and ran away on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the release.

No one was injured during the robbery, officials said.

The robber is described as black, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and was clean shaven. He was wearing a black knit hat, sunglasses, a dark navy hooded sweatshirt with a light blue hood liner, and black pants, shoes and gloves.
