Police: Man waved gun at teens in road rage incident

Incident happened on Madison's east side
The two year project will focus on the area between Traceway Drive to the Madison Beltline in 2020.

Two teenagers told police a driver pointed a handgun at them after a road rage incident on Friday.

The 16-year-old driver, from Sun Prairie, told police he swerved to avoid a gold Buick on Zeier Road near East Springs Drive just before 4 p.m.

As he swerved, the driver said he could hear the Buick’s driver yelling and making an obscene gesture with his hand. Police said the driver was described as a black man in his late 20s with a shaved head and was wearing a white T-shirt and earrings.

The teen said the man pulled up alongside his vehicle and pulled out a handgun. The teen’s passenger told him to go and they sped off to call police.
