Police make 4th offense OWI arrest in Sun Prairie
Officer makes traffic stop after complaint
SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — A Madison man was arrested on suspicion of fourth offense operating while intoxicated after a traffic stop in Sun Prairie Monday night, according to police.
A Sun Prairie police officer at around 10:30 p.m. noticed a vehicle on West Main Street near Rickel Road that matched the description of a vehicle from a traffic complaint from a few minutes earlier.
Police said William Cox, 42, was arrested on suspicion of fourth offense operating while intoxicated after a traffic stop.
Cox was also cited for operating after revocation, non-registration of an automobile and possessing unlawfully obtained license plates.
