Police looking for driver in hit-and-run horse and buggy incident
TOWN OF GREEN LAKE COUNTY, Wis. — A horse-drawn Amish buggy was headed north on Hilltop Road when it was struck from behind Saturday afternoon, officials say.
The buggy was attempting to turn right into a private driveway when a dark-colored — possibly green — SUV hit the buggy and drove away without stopping, according to police.
The car involved in the hit-and-run incident had a white sticker on its back, and would have damage to the right, front headlamp or fender damage. The car was last seen headed north on Hilltop Road, police said.
No one was injuried in the accident, officials said.
