Police looking for Deforest hit and run driver

DEFOREST, Wis. — Police are asking for help while looking for the driver of a car who hit a pedestrian Monday night.

The pedestrian was brought to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

According to police, a car hit the victims at the intersection of Trailside drive and West North street in the village of Deforest just before 7 p.m.

The car drove West from the scene, say police.

Police are asking for witnesses of anyone with information to contact deforest police at 608-846-6756.

They believe the vehicle sustained front end damage from the crash that affected the head lights.

Police have no other information on the injured pedestrian at this time.
