The Town of Beloit Police Department is looking for information about a dog that they believe died from severe neglect and blunt trauma, according to a Facebook post.

Police found the remains of a brown male pit bull-type dog Friday in the 3600 block of Walter’s Road, officials said.

Police are looking for any information that will help them identify the dog or the person or persons responsible.
