Police are looking for a woman who got away with cash and cigarettes during an armed robbery at a gas station Saturday night, officials said.

Janesville police were sent to reports of an armed robbery at the Stop-N-Go convenience store at 714 Center Ave. just before 11 p.m., according to a release.

The woman stole an undetermined amount of money and several individual packs of cigarettes, according to the release.

Several officers responded to the area, but a K-9 track was not successful, police said.

Officers are reviewing video surveillance as part of the ongoing investigation.

The woman is described as black, about 5 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans and white shoes.
