Police: Large fight broke out involving knives, box cutters

The Madison Police Department received a disturbance complaint at 8:31 p.m. Friday near Rimrock Road.

Police say around 30 individuals were fighting outside the apartment complex at 1186 Moorland Road. The cause of the fight is still under investigation.

Police say knives were a possible weapon used. It is confirmed that six women came out of the apartment complex with box cutters and were throwing them at other people present. There are no confirmed injuries.

When police arrived to the scene, the suspects all fled in different directions.
