Police investigating home burglary on Madison’s north side
MADISON, Wis. — Police are investigating a home burglary that took place on Madison’s north side Friday afternoon.
According to the incident report, someone broke into a home on the 1900 block of Windom Way at 3:47 p.m. and fled with electronics. A resident of the home was sleeping in a bedroom at the time of the burglary. He woke up to the sound of the burglar alarm and stayed in his room until a 911 dispatcher told him it was okay to come out.
Police saw signs of forced entry when they arrived at the scene and found out some of the homeowners’ items were stolen.
