Police investigate robbery on Madison’s south side
Victim had watch and $400 taken
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating an armed robbery on the city’s south side.
Police were called to the 3100 block of Latham Drive around 8:50 p.m. Wednesday.
According to a police report, a 20-year-old man was walking when a car pulled up and the people inside offered him a ride. When they stopped, police said the passenger pointed a gun at the 20-year old. The victim gave the gunman about $400 from his wallet and the driver took the victim’s Rolex watch.
The victim was not hurt in the incident.
