Police Investigate Man’s Death In Richland Center
Richland Center police are investigating after a 34-year-old man who died after being found unresponsive in the city’s downtown.
An ambulance was called to the corner of North Jefferson and West Mill streets at 9:21 p.m. on Friday on a report of an unconscious man, according to a Richland police news release. The man, identified as William A. Young, was taken to Richland Hospital, where he later died.
The Richland County coroner conducted an autopsy, but Young’s death has been listed as inconclusive pending the results of toxicology tests.
Police said that the autopsy results and initial investigation don’t reveal any foul play connected with his death. They said that the investigation is continuing.
