Police investigate disturbance, possible shots fired

Madison police are investigating a disturbance where a gun may have been fired on Madison’s east side Saturday night.

Madison police responded to reports of a disturbance in a parking lot in the 200 block of Swanton Road just before 10 p.m. where a shot may have been fired, according to a release.

Multiple callers reported the incident involved numerous people, and when officers arrived they found a spent shell casing, officials said.

No injuries were reported, but broken glass was found from a vehicle that left the scene before officers got there, according to the release.

Police ask anyone with information on the disturbance to call the Madison Police Department or Madison Area Crime Stoppers.
