Woman sexually assaulted in downtown parking ramp, police say

At least six rear windows of cars were shot out with a BB gun Tuesday night on Madison’s east side, and police are trying to find out who might be responsible.

The incident happened at the Meadows Apartments in the 200 block of North Thompson Drive around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police, at least one witness was able to provide a description of the shooters. One shooter was a mixed race man in his mid-teens, 5 feet 1 inch tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a baggy drab olive coat with his hood up around his head, dark pants and his face was covered with a red bandanna.

The other person was also described as a mixed race male in his mid-teens, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with bushy dark hair. He also had baggy clothing, including a long, drab, olive army-style coat, dark pants, and light shoes.

No damage was done to any of the cars other than the windows. If you know anything about the incident, you are asked to call Madison police.
