Police: Four arrested in connection with armed robbery in which attacker struck man with handgun
SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — The Sun Prairie Police Department said it has arrested four people in connection with an Aug. 29 armed robbery near the 1400 building of Park Circle.
According to a release, a male subject used a handgun to strike the 21-year-old victim during the robbery. One person went through the victim’s pockets. Suspected narcotics, money and a wallet were stolen.
Police said two adults and two juveniles were involved in the armed robbery. Police searched a residence and arrested all four Monday. The firearm used in the robbery was located and seized in the search.
Daniel D. Baccas, 18, was taken into custody on suspicion of armed robbery and referred to the Dane County district attorney’s office on one charge of battery, according to the report. Charles L. Warren, 18, was arrested on suspicion of party to armed robbery.
One of the juveniles, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery. The second juvenile, also a 16-year-old boy, was referred to the Dane County district attorney’s office’s on suspicion of possession of dangerous weapon by a minor.
