Police find loaded gun in stolen car, arrest two men
MADISON, Wis. — Police arrested two men Tuesday after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle on Morrow Court.
According to an incident report, a resident reported Tuesday morning that a car was occupied and running on Morrow Court. The caller reportedly said the car and its occupants had been there most of the night. Upon arrival, police realized the vehicle was one that had been reported stolen Friday.
Jacob E. Hoskins, 18, and Justice J. Cloud-Dominguez, 19, were both arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle without consent. Officials said they found a loaded handgun and other evidence in the car when the men were arrested.
Police were originally notified about the vehicle Friday afternoon when a woman called police saying a man had pointed a handgun at her and took her car after she stopped in near North Fair Oaks Avenue and East Washington Avenue.
The investigation is ongoing, according to the report.
