Police, energy crews respond to car vs. power pole crash outside Baraboo
Alliant Energy: 50 people without power near scene
BARABOO, Wis. — Sauk County deputies were responding to a car accident involving a power line Saturday evening.
Officers said the call came in around 7:30 p.m. for a car up against a power pole along Highway 136. Alliant Energy crews were on scene securing the power pole Saturday night. The company’s website noted 50 customers without power along the highway.
Sauk County dispatchers said there were no reports of injuries.
