Police: Drunk teen knocked out on State St.
Argument leads to single punch causing bloody nose
MADISON, Wis. — A Mount Horeb teen was knocked unconscious after an early morning altercation on State Street, Madison police said.
The victim, an 18-year-old woman, suffered a bloody nose from the attack that occurred in the 100 block of State Street at about 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 14.
Police described the attacker as a woman of unknown race in her early 20s, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds with long dark hair.
The woman who threw the punch was wearing a black skirt and white jacket; she left the scene with another woman walking toward the state Capitol building.
Police also said the victim was intoxicated when the altercation occurred.
