Police: Drugs, alcohol not believed to be factors in school bus incident
MUSCODA, Wis. — Police said drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in an incident involving a school bus in Muscoda Thursday afternoon.
Muscoda Police Chief Bill Schramm said in a news release that police were informed of an incident in which a child had been rolled over by a school bus at a bus stop around 4 p.m. The bus’ wheels didn’t make contact with the child, police said.
The child suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by family members, Schramm said.
The incident is under investigation, police said.
Police would not release any additional information Thursday night.
